The Architecture Committee of the Society of Engineers in the State headed by Engineer Rashad Muhammad Bukhash, Chairman of the Committee and a number of members of the Committee, organized an architectural scientific journey to the Expo Dubai site.

The visit included the recently opened Sustainability Building, which is an example of modern future buildings in the world, and the building has two spacious pavilions designed in a beautiful, exquisite and modern style that represent the history of planet over millions of years, and one of the pavilions was dedicated to talking about forests and their role in the ecological balance on the planet, while the other pavilion was dedicated to presenting the seas and oceans and efforts to preserve the environment.

The journey comes within the committee’s program to visit the architectural features and engineering landmarks in the State, especially the projects under construction to find out the latest developments in the fields of architectural design, engineering and construction.

The Expo Dubai will open its doors to the public on 1 October 2021, running for a period of six months, and is considered the largest event ever staged in the Arab world, with more than 190 countries participating.
