Eng. Abdullah Al-Ali obtained the professional accreditation certificate from the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) in the United Kingdom in the field of Professional Engineering and Skills Development, as Eng. Marwa Al-Muhaidib obtained the professional membership of the ICE as the first Emirati national to obtain this membership.

Eng. Mohamed Mahmoud Mashroum, President of the Society of Engineers (SoE), congratulated Eng. Abdullah and Eng. Marwa on their accreditation by the Institute of Civil Engineers, which is one of the long-standing professional institutions in the United Kingdom, established in 1818. Eng. Mashroum stressed on the continuation of the SoE's efforts to encourage and support engineers to develop and improve their capabilities and skills in various engineering disciplines, referring to the Professional Engineering Association headed by Dr. Waddah Ghanem, which was formed to be affiliated to SoE with the aim of spreading a culture of professional engineering in the region, along with demonstrating the importance of exchanging experiences and adopting joint projects in order to upgrade the capabilities of engineers.
