Eng. Mohammed Mahmoud Mashroom, President of Society of Engineers (SOE), announced that SOE has won organizing the activities of the congress of the International Federation for Structural Concrete 2026 (fib) in the capital city Abu Dhabi in cooperation with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi. This will be held from 27th of March to 3rd of April 2026.

Mashroom explained that the international congress, under the slogan (Concrete without Borders), is an excellent forum for engineers, technologists, researchers, academics, practitioners and professionals to communicate, exchange knowledge and learn about global developments in the field of structural concrete.

This international congress, which is held every four years, aims to contribute to sustainable development by disseminating advanced knowledge that is based on research results and developments in the areas of concrete structures and associated technologies. It seeks to encourage and develop cutting-edge innovations and best practices in the design of concrete structures.
