Eng. Mohammad Mahmoud Mashroom, President of Society of Engineers - UAE, officially announced the formation of a new chapter under the umbrella of SOE by the name of 100% Emirati Chapter, chaired by Eng. Amina Al-Mehairi.

This was announced in the online discussion session recently organized by the Training Department of the Society of Engineers entitled “Emiratisation in the Engineering Sector”. The vision of the association is to build solid relationships to link local national engineering talents and decision-making institutions in the United Arab Emirates.

Eng. Mashroom explained that the objectives of the chapter are to develop simplified guidelines and standards to mandate development and involve nationals in practical engineering fields, in addition to establishing communication units to exchange knowledge and best practices to enhance the efficiency of national talents, build capabilities and productivity through interactive consulting initiatives and create a distinct platform based on the UAE vision 2050 to foster innovation and diversification in future research and development in all sectors of the engineering industry.
