Included exchange of experiences training and scientific research fields, Cooperation Agreement signed between SOE and Ajman University

Within its policy to openness to all engineering-related educational authorities and Institutions within UAE, SOE - UAE entered into a Cooperation Agreement with Ajman University last May, which aims to exchange experiences and establish bridges of communications between both Parties.

The Agreement has been signed at SOE Headquarter in Ajman by Eng. Mohammed Mahmood Mashroom, President of SOE and Ph.D. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, in presence Eng. Sulaiman AbdulRahman Al Hajri, Secretary of SOE, Eng. Hessa Al-Harmi, Board of Directors Member, and Mr. Mohamed Karim, Manager of Membership Section, from SOE, and Dr. Khalid Al Saleh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, AU, Dr. Fahar Hayati, Dean of College of Engineering at Ajman University of Science and Technology, and Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Affairs, Ajman University from Ajman University.   

During his speech, Eng. Mashroom presented an overview of the SOE and highlighted its role in development of engineering work through developing and refining the skills and potentials of the engineers and engineering students at universities. Mashroom pointed out that entry into the Agreement falls within the SOE’s strategy for openness to all engineering-related educational authorities and Institutions within UAE.

The aim of such partnership is to benefit from the cumulative experiences of Ajman University in engineering research and studies, raise visions and ideas to develop the engineering work towards the achievement of the best engineering practices, calling for the development of various engineering specialties to be in line with the requirements and techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution such as artificial intelligence and focus on gaining the good engineering professional skills and conducts consistent with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Mashroom continued.

In conclusion, Mashroom stated that the Agreement is deemed a platform and an essential step towards framing the community partnership to achieve the common objectives between SOE and Ajman University.

From his part, Ph.D. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University was pleased with the visit of SOE’s Delegate presided by Eng. Mohammed Mahmood Mashroom. He pointed out that the Agreement includes many initiatives, including utilizing the experiences of SOE in training field in addition to exchanging experiences and cooperation in various fields of engineering work, particularly scientific research.

 Furthermore, the Chancellor of Ajman University commended the SOE’s step towards the establishment of Youth Engineering Council that aims to develop the skills and potentials of youth engineers to keep up with the requirements of labor market.

Upon the conclusion of the ceremony for the Agreement, the Parties exchanged memorial shields.
