Progress meeting with the Gulf Engineering Union Secretary General and the Society of 
Engineers in Dubai regarding the upcoming 20th Gulf Engineering Forum

The Gulf Engineering Union Secretary General, Engineer Kamal AL- Hamad, conducted a progress meeting while visiting the
UAE Society of Engineers main office - Dubai.

The meeting was held in regards to the coordination for the upcoming 20th Gulf Engineering Forum, which will be held on 
February 21-22, 2017 in conjunction with 4th Arabian Tunnelling Conference & Exhibition 2017 “Advancing Underground Space”
 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

He was welcomed by Engineer Abdullah Yusuf Ali, Board Member and Eng. Tareq Bin Deemas Al Suaidi, the General Manager 
of the Society of Engineers - UAE.

 The meeting addressed the proposals from the UAE Society of Engineers to activate and highlight the role of the Gulf 
Engineering Union and to provide support for all the Gulf engineering associations and all the Gulf Engineering Union members.
