Society of Engineers – UAE declared readiness for the 1st UAE Project Management Conference in Excellence in Project and Risk Management in Mega Projects at Intercontinental Dubai Festival City Hotel from 25 – 27 May 2015 where the first conference will be one of its kind in the aspects of excellence and leadership in projects and lessons learned management in mega projects.
Engineer Essa Al Maidoor Chief Engineer Association state stressed that the construction boom taking place in the United Arab Emirates General and Dubai especially require the adoption of the best means practices, techniques and experiences in the management of those projects and the study of the multiple risks the maximum of which benefit about the sustainability of learning through the transfer of global expertise and investment in human resources in order to achieve sustainable development.
For his part, Mr. Maged Farouck Hanna, General Manager of Society of Engineers UAE, pointing out that the organization of the conference reflects the importance of the role played by the UAE Society of Engineers as link between all the strategic partners from government agencies, private sector developers, consulting and contracting companies and universities. The event includes a number of activities of excellence in the engineering sector – conference, exhibition, young engineers’ forum, award for best practices and site visits.
