the Discount Shopping and Leisure Guide; you not only gave us
happiness but also gave us trust in these challenging times, indeed it
is something, I appreciate it so much in behalf of Society of
Engineers.
Society of Engineers staying true to its founding principles, being
aware of their responsibility to help in their members' growth and
contributing to the profession and industry as a whole, devised a
platform in which the Society in partnership with private businesses
can offer some of life's basic needs in a discounted price thereby
encouraging savings to its members as well as alleviating some of their financial burdens.
The Discount Shopping & Leisure Guide not only shows benefits but also our commitment to help in
different ways to the enhancement of our every member's life and their families as a whole. It also
showcases the synergy of public and private establishments for the benefit of their people and the
whole community; indeed it is a win win situation for all parties involved.
It's never once that we have witnessed the resiliency of a nation when confronted by challenges
that it did not fall to its feet when its community whether private or government sector stood side
by side to help each other during these times.
Society of Engineers UAE pledges its best efforts to help the engineers around the emirates not
because it is a nice thing to do, not because other countries are also doing it but because it is the
right thing to do. We refuse to believe in the word impossible as we have witnessed and shown to
the rest of the world what our engineers are capable of. Rather than being just fine and contented
by the things that we have accomplished, SOE will continue to provide guidance to its engineers and
to elevate them to new heights. In this note I would like to convey my sincerest gratitude to those
who made this edition possible from businesses to ordinary people who worked on this project, you
are amazing thank you so much.
